2017 Ford F150 gets the second-generation V6 engine, 3.5L EcoBoost which is believed to be comparable in performance to a V8 conventional engine.
On paper, V6 engine, 3.5L EcoBoost capable present power up to 375 hp and 637 Nm of torque. More perfect than its predecessor, now increased 10 hp and 67 Nm. Drove dashing with 10 speed automatic transmission.
“Ford F-150 2017 is now presenting the best torque in its class,” said Raj Nair, Ford executive vice president, Product Development, and chief technical officer of Ford. “In addition to nitu combined with 10 speed automatic transmission so that the best performance F-150 really come out.”
The new 10 speed transmission is replacing the previous six-speed transmission. This latest engine can further funnel the lower torque and peak performance well despite carrying a hitch.
The interior matches almost 100% with the rest of the Raptor range, but the passengers in the rear seats gain additional space for the legs, in addition, they have a better entry and exit thanks to larger rear doors.
The F-150 Raptor SuperCrew 2017 mounts a V6 Ecoboost 3.5-liter engine with 411 hp and 588 Nm of torque, which is attached to an all-new automatic gearbox of ten speeds and a four-wheel drive system wheel.
Speaking of four-wheel drive, the Ford F150 Raptor has a new management system with six different modes:
– Normal mode for daily driving
– Street mode to offer better performance on the road
– Mode for rain, snow or ice
– Clay and sand mode
– Desert mode, to be able to drive thoroughly in sand
– Reduction mode
In addition to the aforementioned changes, the Raptor SuperCrew has a FOX Racing Shox suspension, although Ford has not given more details, it has indicated that it has more suspension travel than the conventional F-150 Raptor.
The 2017 Ford F-150 Raptor SuperCrew will go on sale this fall and the price will be announced near its launch
